The volume examines peculiarities of regions' credit rating. Particular attention has been given to the analysis of the amount and structure of the regional state debt of the Federation subjects. The book deals with problems of managing regional credit risks with the aim to enhance creditworthiness of the regions' administrations. The experience and prospects for establishing regional credit ratings in foreign countries and the Russian Federation have been analyzed, the dynamics of comparative credit ratings of the Russian regions over 2001-2002 have been evaluated.
